I definitely outgrew deviantArt at some point, but remembered it existed and decided to update in a fit of nostalgia. Since August of 2007, until this past January, I have done nothing art-related save a handful of doodles in Bic-pen that, if compiled, wouldn't even fill a small sketchbook. Apparently, however, somewhere along the line some skill latched onto me and presented itself during a reprieve from my studies at Carnegie Mellon, this past Spring. Now, I return, and will switch from Engineering to Computer Science & Fine art. We'll see how that goes...

So, at this point, I'm pretty angry at myself for misplacing the only tablet pen I own. I don't have the money to replace it at the moment, and I still haven't located it despite my having looked for it over the past two months. -_-   Fortunately, the distraction from digital practice has me practicing with traditional media. Maybe I'll get around to posting a drawing. Updates on Life: -In August I depart for my new home, Carnegie Mellon University!! Woot! So after saving for quite a while, I finally invested in a camera. I'm really glad I waited because instead of a point and shoot digital, I got a Nikon D50. DSLR = love. It came with a case, a 256mb card and two lenses (28-50mm and 70-300mm.) It's so exciting! I can't wait to use it, but I'm not taking it out of the house until I can get some filters. I really wish I had a macro lens though.
